DO YOU OFFER THERAPIES?
PPA does have an in-house partner, TheraMotion. TheraMotion offers speech and language, ABA, physical therapy, occupational therapy, counseling services, sensory integration therapy and much more. You can find more information on their services by clicking on "What to Expect at PPA."
WHEN WILL YOU BE ACCEPTING STUDENTS?
PPA is always accepting applications for new students. Our first class will be launched in March of 2020. We are currently enrolling for this class and will be adding students throughout the school year.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
3531 N. Range Line Road, Joplin, MO 64801
DO YOU HAVE ANY FUNDRAISERS OR EVENTS?
Yes, we have three to four events a year that go to support PPA. Join our mailing list and social media pages to keep updated on what events are coming up.
HOW MUCH IS TUITION?
School tuition varies based on endowments, scholarships and financial aid funding for that school year. If a family were to forego all of the above options, the Self-Pay rate is $1,430/month. Over 45% of the Springfield student population is served by financial aid and scholarship programs. These percentages and scholarship funds do vary by location.
Every student is eligible for financial aid and is based on availability. PPA does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations that include financial aide and admission.
ARE YOU CURRENTLY ON A WAITLIST?
When a family fills out an application, it is submitted and timestamped by our computer system. It is a first-come, first-serve system, but we must take several variables into account when accepting a new student. Some of these items include, but are not limited to:
-50/50 Inclusion Model
-Student's differing ability or IEP
-If a student is required a one-to-one support
-Student class sizes of 12 or less
-Maintaining a 4:1 ratio or less
CAN WE TAKE A TOUR?
Yes, we do offer tours and visits to see our space as well as opportunities to see what our daily procedures look like. Tours must be scheduled in advance and arranged with the Dean of Schools (Just go to the "Contact Us" page). We also offer social events that allow you to meet the staff, ask questions, tour the space, and get additional information. Keep an eye out for those dates on our social media pages and the "Events and Donations" page on our website.
DO YOU OFFER PROGRAMS YEAR-ROUND?
PPA is a year round program. We offer services and schooling 12 months of the year. We closely follow the Public Schools calendar, but not exactly. We do this to assist families with multiple children that attend other schools.
